Autism & IT mentoring program - what was the premiere like

The phone rang once. Lucie Rothman called that she had an idea. So we met, idea grew, was supported by Kateřina Sokolová, founder of AutTalk Foundation, Gabriela Bohmova, coach and therapist get involved and thanks to courage and energy of people from Avast and NF Avast we have introduced mentoring program for IT enthusiasts on autistic spectrum in Avast company. Nautis was partner od the program.
In AutTalk we though that program is connected with our core activities only by the topic. At the end of the pilot version we found out we have never been part of such a authentic and kind awareness campaign. Six mentors from Avast, their openness, empathy together with their expertise allow three IT enthusiasts on autistic spectrum to experience truly equal collegial relationship in work, maybe for the first time. We are very grateful that we were part of this great and in a way revolutionary project.
